Padua has had a prominent role in the history of sciences (Galileo, Copernico) and of medicine (Vesalius, Morgagni, Harvey, Falloppio), but it is also well known for its beauty, homeland of Giotto’s masterpiece (Cappella degli Scrovegni Frescos), St. Anthony’s Basilic , Prato della Valle ad the Botanical Gardens, one of the oldest in the world. The congress venue is located in the historical city center (June 2016) still maintaining its medieval aspect and its porches so well described in Shakespeare’s “Taming of the Shrew”.
Padua is near to Venice (25 km), Treviso (30 km), Verona (80 km), the Dolomites (100 km) and is surrounded by many little quaint hamlets. Therefore the perfect place to pass a few days with your family, to enjoy the company, the views and the food and wine .
Hoping to see you in Padua
